re: the 3rd quote.... i can understand him saying that... as most people who are "believers" would be acting like the "devil incarnate" if they didnt have the fear of religion to keep them in line... id hate to be alive when all this myth is finally exposed for the hoax it is as im sure many believers will become the exact creatures they are fearful of. why wouldnt they, if thats all they have to keep them honest, is some belief in almighty and vengeful god... because as weve seen even the fear of retribution from an angry god doesnt always achieve the desired behaviours... so i fully understand where he's coming from with his .. would be hell statement....i agree with him.. but not for the reasons you want to assign...
