When you originally asked me your question, I went to my optimized X_DEV BRCM chart and pressed the "Trades" button on the lab page. The following is the trades report I received:
As you can see, the last X_DEV buy was at $38.53 (which took the cash balance to .27 cents). Therefore, I considered that price ($38.53) to be the price that would have to be exceeded on the downside for 3 days in order for the 3 day rule to take effect.
