IMHO "naked" short selling has never been for you and me (the small investor), but for the wall street criminals that never should have been doing it in the first place. Glad to see the SEC after their arse. However I don't think that it will have any effect on the markets one way or another. It'll just get rid of yet one more illegal transaction that the wall street criminals have been able to do but you and I could not. However I'm certain that for every illegal transaction that disappears another one takes its place. We just don't know what it is yet. :(
