What company is this? I only just recently heard of this WiMax thing. Hadn't looked yet to see how it works. But if it does what it says at the price points I'm seeing, it's an IP killer. The big debate of QCOM vs. IDCC becomes moot. This would obsolete 3G before it ever really gets off the ground. And while VOIP on a wire line seems silly, quality and reliability aren't there and no price advantage, but team it with WiMax, and it might be able to muscle in on cell phones.
WiMax Winner #1: Intel makes chips for this tiny company.

Last summer, news leaked out that Intel would make WiMax chips for an obscure Israeli communications company.
On the news, this tiny stock shot up 23% in as many minutes. But since no one could figure out WHAT the news meant, the hot
money moved on.
After Intel's most recent announcement that it plans to back WiMax, we can put two and two together -- and it adds up to a
double REAL FAST!
This company's revenues rose 77% in the quarter just announced last week -- and gross margins increased for the ninth
consecutive quarter to 42.4%. This means the company is well run and management knows what to do with Intel's brand-new 802.16 chips.
They've already teamed up with Siemens and Nokia to put the new chips into receivers and equipment as fast as they can.
Before this stock achieves ten-bagger status, it's going to be bought out: there's just too much at stake. You see, our
projections are that WiMax will DOUBLE to $500 million -- 600 million in sales this year...and DOUBLE AGAIN to over $1 billion in 2005...before reaching $3 billion in sales in 2006.
That makes a tiny company in Israel that no one's ever heard of about as powerful as Qualcomm and Cisco!
Believe me, it's going to be snapped up for a rich premium before long! Buy under $14.
