This is a good board to get an idea of trading. I suggest reading the posts and if you have questions ask them WHEN THE MARKET IS CLOSED. Don't bug posters there during trading hours.

Also this site will let you look up stocks by ticker symbol and bring up a profile of the company and their latest financials.
