to get the paid version, you have to "register" and you will see links for that. otherwise, it is the free for the downloading

Limtex, You have to supply a data feed to use QT. It will work with many brokers / sources... The only Free data feed I know if is with Scottrade and you can register for it on their home page.
I do not recomment them as a Brokerage at all!
