It is misleading to describe this transaction as a reverse split since it is a reverse merger, not a reverse split. In a reverse split, the parent company remains intact. The only difference is that the parent company has fewer shares. In a reverse merger, the parent company reverses into a new company with new cusip and symbol. That is what we have here, not a reverse split.
