Is there a publicly traded company that’s a pure play in housecleaning service? If you’re right (which I doubt, FWIW), someone is going to have to do a lot of vacuuming.
But if productivity holds up the taste for large homes will resume
the size of homes may continue to increase but the rate of increase will inevitably decrease. aside from geographical restraints, after someone has an indoor pool, basketball court, home theatre and a pair of bowling lanes with an adjacent shooting range they simply start running out of ideas for what else they can add........sometimes the wife might halt construction to increase the size of the walk-in shoe closet but there are limits to how far she is going to want to walk in order to get those shoes.
