Richard Dickson, senior market strategist at Lowry's Reports Inc. of North Palm Beach, Fla., is also upbeat about the U.S. market. He suggested in a market comment yesterday that recent developments from a technical analysis point of view suggest that the U.S. market's "long-term rally still has substantially further to run." At the same time, he said that the market is providing no clues as to its likely short-term direction.
