First of all Ericus, I really appreciate your thoughtful reply. I've just started posting to forums again (I quit because I got tired of all the name-calling posing as discussion).
I agree UPDA’s amount of debt is a problem, but I guess I can't help but think of someone like Thomas Edison (check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Edison for his speech on the subject), who tried over and over again to find a better filament for the light bulb (I heard he experimented with thousands).
If one had been investing in each of his tests, at what point would one have thrown in the towel?
I think it’s the great investing dilemma — finding the Edisons from the alchemists, so to speak.
