Good point.

But this time it is different. AMD are not going for the lowcost/high volume market where they cannot compete due to their lack of manufacturing.

I believe that in three years time with additional manufacturing capabilty and a consistent return to profitablity AMD will be able to compete with Intel in any space they choose.
