Hi Omni!

That's starting to help, but here's my next question.

Using your example, lets say you come up with 20-40 stocks on a Tuesday night. Do you check the charts on all of those and set price alerts for each one for Wednesday? And then on Wednesday night, do you dump that list of 20-40 stocks and just start over with a new scan and a new list for the next day?

What I'm thinking is, in that example most of the stocks probably won't hit their breakout price alerts ON WEDNESDAY, but they might hit a buy signal a couple of days later. So it seems like you would want to hold onto the info somehow.

So what I've been doing is thinking about saving EVERY stock that I've ever analyzed and setting an alert on it. But then I run into the problem that these stocks might hit their buy-alert prices weeks later when the other indicators aren't right; like the stochs might be around 30 or something.

See my confusion? LOL, I've been thinking about this problem for a few weeks now. That's why I kept putting off the article on the scanning and screening; because I kept changing my mind about how I should be organizing it.

I think this may be a common problem among a lot of the newer traders and I appreciate you coming over to help. If you want, I can post links to some of this discussion onto the BOT board as well to benefit people there that may have missed it on this board.

Thanks!!
