New Report Confirms EMC Extended External Raid Storage Systems Market Share Lead in Fourth Quarter

#1 EMC Also Led NAS Market in Fourth Quarter of 2003
HOPKINTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2004--EMC storage systems demonstrated continued momentum in the fourth quarter of 2003 according to data released today by IDC. On a year-over-year basis, EMC extended its lead over Hewlett-Packard and IBM during the fourth quarter as the world's #1 provider of external RAID disk storage systems. Also during the fourth quarter, EMC continued to lead in network storage and was #1 in networked attached storage (NAS), according to IDC.
