Again, you miss the point.


1) I've always assumed the worst of financing terms. $61 million at 7% is heaven. Now I just assume the worst with $25 million.

2) Noone is biting their proposal. Again, that's your client's problem - not VEII's. They are giving shitty terms to your client because -------- they think they can. Obviously they'll bend rather than not build it. With all due respect - use some common sense. They're securing the best terms, although there is the tiniest shot in hell they'll just say "okay, forget the whole project! we didn't get the financing we wanted!" - it's not happening.

3) Why hasn't ground been broken?


--a) They did NOT announce the deal on 12/23/03. They announced negotiations will be begin.
--b) It takes 90 days to close on a house. It hasn't even been 90 days, lol - you think this is a long time?
--c) Company said even back on 12/23/03 that March was the earliest that ground would be broken - and now you want to know why it hasn't been done sooner? lol

4) Harrah's is only leasing land. NO SHIT. And thank GOD! If Harrah's was part of the financing, they'd have an incentive to BK them and own them! Very important that Harrah's is not part of the financing. VERY important.


The official media contact of Harrah's, by the way, has made it very clear that the deal is done, finished, and ground-breaking is to begin soon (March or April). We don't know the details of why they said this - certainly YOU do not know - maybe VEII was able to prove that they had several offers for $25 million on the table and were just negotiating and being pains in the asses for better financing - XMSR-style who took much longer than this?


Again, every single employee at RIO has been instructed - CALL 800-PLAY-RIO that ground-breaking is to begin soon, it's a done deal, it's a 100% guarrantee.


Although, who knows - maybe anonymous people on message boards are better informed than the entire staff at RIO about what's going to be taking place at RIO.
