Heck, Matt. I wrote a nice note. I said I wouldn't write notes that are insulting and I didn't. I hadn't written insulting notes before those two that put me in here.
I thought a nice note saying it's nice to see him posting again would be good all the way around. No one wants a place with so much tension and bad stuff; so I was trying to smooth things over.
If you don't want any notes to him, that's okay and I'll comply with that.
There were no prior notes like the two the other day as you know, which were attacking. And I hadn't tried to make nice in public before, either, so I thought that would help things last night. I simply said I was glad to see him posting again.
I hoped things could move on in a friendly way, without hostilities! There shouldn't have been anything in the content of that note that was wrong, so clearly you don't want any notes to him. That's okay with me.
I posted that nice little note in his own thread, where he could delete it himself if he found it troublesome. I thought it would stop hostilities, be pleasant.
Don't you think that he shouldn't be writing about me in his posts if you don't want me to write notes to him? He's sure got a lot of posts about me!
