I dont think so.
Seems more likely that if Grid were smart, they would set it up so that who ever is using the platform can validate users and then forward the validation to Grid, not require all validation to occur at Grid.
If that were the case, then the paltform would be useless, because most majors would simply say screw you Grid, why would we want to give you control over our customer base?
I suspect they considered this from the beginning when they architected the system.
If they did not, they are alot dumber than the geniuses I figured them for from the beginning.
