#12080 RE: Detail1 #12079

Detail and Olwalrus.

From past conversations I will explain to the best of my knowledge. When #17 was drilled and logged it showed three promising pay zones. Some presumed to be oil and some predominately gas. This based on past experience with other wells. A decision has to be made which to produce. On this well they decided to produce from the Mulkey for gas. In the future if this is depleted they may go back in and Frac another pay zone. Or while it produces gas they may drill another well nearby to produce from a different pay zone. Some of these produce both oil and gas from the same well. Gas is the primary driver of oil from nearby porous rock and sand to the Frac'ed structure as it is pumped to the surface.

As the fluid is pumped the result is a mixture of Gas, Oil and water which is piped to the tank battery where it is separated, Gas to buyers line, Oil to tank to be picked up by truck and water to be disposed.

Simplified but you get the Idea.

Corrections welcome if I made any goofs .......Jess

Thank you for the information.

It looks like production will at least triple in 2008. It is just a matter of time. Way to go Larry and crew!

I keep looking at the map provided by gb55 (post #12009). All that virgin land in sections 4, 9, 10, 15, and 16.

Will someone please give me a reality check, I'm off in space with the potential growth.
