My apologies for the two posts yesterday morning. This is what was wrong about what I did:
1. For an undetermined reason I got some very old messages on my screen early in the morning, messages that I thought were current, and responded to them thinking they had just been posted. By the time I realized that part of my mistake, I wanted to exchange the text on my two posts to “delete this” but the editing window had closed in both cases.
2. I wanted to delete them in part because their content was inappropriate at any time not only because I realized the temporal mistake and that his posts were not current.
3. I thought you and I would have a dialog about it later and that I’d be able to explain it and apologize later, but you put me in jail without a dialog, which I didn’t expect, because of the history of this matter which includes serious repeated acts of criminal harassment against me, and which did not lead to the other person losing the free "paid" account you gave him, did not lead to the removal of numerous bizarre posts including the header of his supposed trading board, did not lead to his being jailed.
4. Additionally, I expected some leeway because one of the boards in which I posted one of the notes is one where a lot of leeway is provided in general, with your approval – numerous offensive posts, reported to you, on that board, were never removed, nor were the offenders jailed.
While I do not justify having made the posts, the above is why I expected the consideration of communication prior to action, and why I didn’t immediately PM you to head off problems when I realized my error. Of course, all these matters are entirely your calls and I really should have notified you right away.
I do not justify the text of the posts I made,. I almost immediately regretted them. They were inappropriate to iHub. I’d have myself removed them if the edit window had been a little longer, and have no disagreement with your removing those posts.
I can promise not to post in that manner again, and of course will comply with whatever sentence you determine. If there’s any other problem, please let me know.
