OK, I'll try one last time to explain that when people say we want to have the NCAA, what they mean is that we (EI) want to be able to sell (for instance) UNC, or USC urns. With the CLC agreement, EI will apply to CLC to sell UNC and USC merchandise. Now, those schools are already members of the NCAA so EI doesn't have to apply to get the NCAA license to sell UNC or USC urns. Do you get it now? I know you want to be right but I've already done this for real.
Geeez!
National Collegiate Athletic Association
The more than 1,250 members of the NCAA are divided into five categories: active colleges and universities, provisional colleges and universities, conferences, affiliated organizations, and corresponding members. An important part of the NCAA brand is a consistent image that supports these attributes. Learning. Balance. Spirit. Community. Fair play. Character. These are the attributes that the NCAA promotes through its branding initiative.
