MWL: Re: NVEI would NOT have hired MP unless they had something of fruitation going to take place. They could have just sold more 144's and more offshore financing.
I disagree. The practice of selling deeply discounted 144 shares is dependant upon there being at least a reasonable expectation of achievement by the company. While I suspect that some of the discounted 144 shares have been illegally sold in offshore transactions by the buyers (note this is *not* an accusation of the company), most buyers probably intend to hold the shares until they are able to be registered and sold. Because the company has repeated demonstrated a remarkable ability to achieve absolutely nothing, they have exhausted their ability to convince investors that there is a potential for return in the future. Therefore, because of the company's dismal performance, there is no longer a market for their discounted shares.
The only way that they can secure funds for continued salaries, er, operations, is to negotiate deals like the $2 million convertible debenture/warrant deal whereby the investors are offered not only deeply discounted shares, but also a deal that makes those shares free-trading, in conjunction with a coordinated hired marketing scheme to artificially inflate the price so the shares can be unloaded at a high price.
The evidence in favor of this scenario is overwhelming.
