agree, sl. I wish we could publish your comments in every newspaper to wake up our Country. I feel better knowing the truth and appreciate your posts. Everything you said is for real. Putin is helping set a global trap and Congress rubber stamped a bill allowing our Navy to dwindle to 300 ships from 1000, while China grows men, ships, and what next. I remember reading the articles here. Bush's obsession with Iraq has helped open the door to trouble. So, the past Cold War and worry about China doesn't look so far out, right now.

Good points Lobster. and I think both Russia and China deep in their heart wants an Iranian-American confrantation. economic wise they might lose a strong ally in the ME, BUT in terms of geopolitics they will win big time.

Russians and Chinese know Iran will never lose.for the past 5000 years persian empire been statding there. persians survived Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Ottomons, Mongol invasion, even Brits couldnt invade Iran in 20s.

at this point imo US has two choices either learn how to live with nuclear Iran OR try talking to them.
