I'd completely disagree.

While public fear of the new is never to underestimated, in the right hands, the obvious scientific and economic advantages of GTCB's transgenic production platform are more than rivaled by the huge PR ADVANTAGES this platform offers.

GTCB's use of goats is a huge SELLING point -- not something to be 'slipped' by an appropriately skeptical public.

Big Pharma is forced to publically laugh at "the horseless carriage" of GTCB's IP because it is completely disruptive, but they are NOT fools -- nor not greedy. After stalling for years, they see the automobile of GTCB's production platform coming, and as soon as one of them blinks (which will be imminently), everyone will suddenly look back at the current, 'modern' CHO process as as bizarre as it is.

"Granddady, did they REALLY used to make drugs out of vats of mutuant rat woman cells??" "Yes, Bobby, and we believed a horse was much better than a car too."

If Big Pharma is smart, they will simply match (what for them is a very small) investment in GTCB, with a simple "Got Milk?" equivalent PR campaign.

Any Madison Ave twerp could produce a shot of some kids (children) playing with kids (goats), then a shot of a ATIII deficient woman now safely able to give birth because of this new (kid-friendly) technology.

Trying to sell drug made from a slime of CHO cells -- THAT is the nightmare.

GTCB's has a lot of potential weaknesses, but transgenic's are GOOD PR and are not one of them.
