Soundview comments on reports of Prescott processor delays, which appeared in Digitimes. The firm suggests the article could be misleading given that Prescott was officially launched on February 2nd at 2.8, 3.0, and 3.2 GHz speeds. The Digitimes.com report is referring to channel distributors which usually get new products on a slightly delayed basis relative to PC OEMs. Soundview notes the Prescott launch and ramp is on track.
