I don't know about the soul, but for sure this is the only body we have. Sugar has become like Santa Claus, an acceptable indulgence. I even found candy at a dentist's office. Sometimes, it's the little, "harmless" things that'll kill ya in the end.
Try quitting ALL refined sugar. For some people it's harder than heroin withdrawal. Sucrose goes into the blood stream immediately. More complex sugars take the body a while to break down and give the adrenals time to compensate. Also, the body will do anything it has to, to maintain blood ph at about 7. With no calcium in the sugar, the body will leach calcium out of the bones to bring equilibrium.
