A friend is in Mountain View today and visited the restaurant that is being converted to a uWink. He said the location is fabulous. Downtown Mountain View, in the heart of Silicon Valley. I think he also said it was near Stanford U - not sure about that - not a great cell connection.
I'm traveling today and was reading the US Today. The entertainment section they had a story on the Spice Girls - they were hanging out at the lounge of the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood and Hyland - where another of uWink's restaurants will be located!
Restaurant #1 is doing great in a not-so-great location. How will uWink do in a top notch location? How much media exposure will celebs or Google brass hanging out at uWink bring in?
The offering has taken some of the steam out of the stock, OK, it took all of it out, but I think things are going to change. They have money, they have hot locations, Alissa is working hard on press events and this (IMO) is going to rock again really soon.
It's all about location, location, location. Sounds like they have great locatins for #2 and #3!!!!!!!!!11
