What you are saying sounds exactly like us NFI investors were saying when the naked shorters started hammering them. Three years ago NFI was a billion dollar NYSE company paying a $5 dividend. Now it is down 99.5% and is shorted 85% of the issue and another 200% of the issue is naked shorted. That means that for every real share issued, there are 3 more phantom shares trading in the market. It is worse than a death spiral.
NFI should be delisted in the next two weeks. That is the grand slam home run for big short as they probably won't ever have to cover.
BIDZ is another thinly traded small cap who is now in their crosshairs. A perfect target for them. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose and don't use margin in it.
