Why hasn't GTCB bothered to change it's name?

Partnership survey revisited:

In the vote tally for the survey in #msg-24846668, there were five votes for “Some other company.” I’m wondering if any of these votes were for AZN/MedImmune. The reason I ask is that MedImmune is giving a 6-hour investor presentation today on its programs in biologics.

Which other company?

Six votes (12% of the total votes) in survey #8 were cast for the Some other company answer choice. This means a company other than AMGN, BAX, Bayer, BIIB, DNA, GENZ, GSK, JNJ, NVO, NVS, PFE, Shire, SNY, Talecris, WYE, and ZGEN.

If the voters in question would be willing to share their thinking, I would find it intriguing to know which companies not on the above list were selected and why.

Major omission in the ‘Who Will Be the US Partner?’ survey:

I neglected to include an answer choice for Hospira (HSP), the world’s largest vendor of injectable drugs to hospitals! I realized the oversight after listening to the HSP webcast at the JPM conference.

FWIW: I voted for WYE; however, if this survey were redone, I would now vote for HSP for the reason mentioned in #msg-25932812. I think such companies as HSP, WYE, BAX, and NVO are much more likely partners than the most popular pick in the survey, GENZ.
