Xrymd,interesting comments Re:Morty Davis.
In 1990, I lost $22,000 in one of DH Blair's deals. The company was Office Products of America, and I bought units consisting of common and warrants (OPOAU) through one of his brokers. The unit went from $5.00 to over $8.00, then straight doen to $0.
I called my broker, told him to put me in touch with the highest level person at DH Blair, and I was put in touch with Morty Davis. I told Morty I was calling for restitution and I expected a full reimbursement of my $22,000. He immediately placed me on his "Help List". He got me into 4 or 5 quick IPO's, and we sold each at their opening, and after three months we made my money back.
Ultimately, I invested my life savings into Interneuron Pharm (Now Indevus), and survived the FDA decision on Redux, sold some, then rode it back down when Redux was pulled by the FDA for heart valve side effects.
After a bunch of other investments, I ended filing a claimi and receiving a check for nearly $17,000 from the $4.4 million settlement referenced in your post.
Luck to all,
BTB
