I think we have a mutual misunderstanding going on here. Must be my Hungarian! <g>.
I didn't mean the 25 cent gain literally, it was just a random number I used to explain the concept of cutting risk by taking several smaller gains as a stock moves up and down throughout the day in preference to holding for one larger gain, which hawk mentioned was a problem he had that led to some losses. The 25 cents was in no way intended as a reference to any particular trade of yours, though I did learn this method by watching your style of trading.
And while you may consider your trades that only yield 25 cents as failed plays, a profit is nevertheless a profit, and a 25 cent gain is waaaayyyy better than a loss.
