When I say clinical - I mean human. I would call animal pre-clinical. Not sure I am using the terms correctly but that is what I mean.

I hope I am wrong and you are right and they don't want human trials.

I think my view of FDA is jaded. Whatever is the worst case is what I have come to expect from them. Anything better will be a bonus.
