March heating oil and March unleaded gasoline closed with gains of 5 percent and 3.4 percent, respectively, with weekly U.S. supply data fueling the rally. March natural gas closed at $5.15 per million British thermal units, up 7.3 cents. April natural gas, which is now the lead-month contract, rose 13.7 cents to close at $5.221.
