I quit my job to become a day trader mid October. I told my husband I needed something that would beep if I got an e-mail, and allow me to access the e-mail, and then the internet to make a trade, and it had to fit in my purse. I don't want to have to carry a big old lap top with me everywhere I go, just in case. The Iphone fit the bill perfectly, and since I didn't have a cell phone before, it is completely tax deductible as a business expense.
