Unfortunately (apparently) they also failed to use a prophylactic. I say unfortunately because for some it ultimately means their death. In the year 2007 it is hard to imagine that there are people who still do not understand the consequence of having unprotected sex with a person they no nothing about. Claims of ignorance are even more astonishing. I suppose the individual who is exposed and is infected by HIV perhaps wishes they had practiced abstinence; too late.
