kcjones: I 've never seen a recipie for that. If I run across anything will let you know. If you find it please let us know. Sounds interesting. Are you planning on using it indoors or out? I have a block retaining wall about 2 ft. tall beside my drive. I put a coat of stucco on it and painted it, but now I am tired of looking at it. I didn't put enough footer under it to rest a true stone face. What you mentioned might work if it stands up to weather. good luck ~ shao

kc - here's a link for some training videos on making faux rocks. although you do have to pay for them, if your project is of any size or will be seen by many people the cost will more than be made up by the quality of the end results. plus once you get done with the video you can send it to me and save me 50 bucks....lol
