Interactive brokers will not let you buy or hold HMGP in your account, so you could not transfer it to them, I know, they closed the position and sent me the certs. Otherwise, IB is pretty great. I don't think etrade will be going under and would just hold your HMGP there and transfer everything else to IB

I think before all this shakes out we are going to see a lot of these brokers who have been NSS are going to go bottom up. The housing mortages are not the only fraud that they have been trading in. They always go through this every 30 40 years where's Wall street brains think they are smarter then everyone else. The common foke don't have brains like they have but it bites them in the axx every time. Lets watch how this plays out.
