Thanks, Mathew633, $T, and ALL! I've certainly missed being here.
As an update, my Mom is doing MUCH better. She still has Alzheimers, of course, but there is no violence now that her meds have been straightened out. I DO SUGGEST to anyone that has a parent that is exhibiting behavior out of the ordinary that they look in to what prescription drugs that your parent, or loved one is on. I have found that when folks get on up in their years that sometimes a doctor will OVERPRESCRIBE various drugs, and the more folks take, the more they want others. It becomes addictive, even though they are legally prescribed.
Dad is 79, and basically a picture of health for his age, after 2 bouts with cancer (prostate and colon). He has a little dimentia, but he realizes it, and keeps his little notebook handy at all times to write down things that he needs to do to keep from forgetting. I believe there is a difference, as you age, to realize that you have some forgetfulness (dimentia) and realize it, versus not realizing it. It simply comes with age, and recommending that your loved one keep a little notebook handy to write down the things they need to do is not only a show of love, but a recommendation that will give your loved one a better daily life. JMO, of course.
My Grandmother (96) died, my Mom's Mom, and her funeral is Saturday. Not sure how my Mom will react to that yet. I'm truly hoping this doesn't set my Mom back much, if any. My Grandmother also had Alzheimers, and has been in a nursing home for almost 20 years with it. She was a super woman, and I loved her dearly. She died on the day that would have been her 80th anniversary of marriage to my Grandfather. It seemed like a fitting date to pass away.
I really haven't been trading much. I'm online more than my posts show, but I've had a ton of stuff going on. You can't day trade unless you're really watching your stocks, IMO. I truly do need to get to cranking soon!
