Y worry Murray, I think that Little Chico would agree with you. From the comments he has made, I don't think he trades unless CCI is larger than +/-100. From my record keeping, I would agree with your analysis. Gloe, I thought that your comment was interesting that you only make about 3 or 4 trades a day, waiting for the best setups. NARS is making more than that, so again personal judgement to any system maybe the key to success (and eliminates auto trading as you said).
Yesterday was one of the toughest days for NARS that I have seen. First time I have seen it whipsawed so much. However, I think that the argument can be made that you may have a higher chance of success by not entering into trades unless CCI peaked greater than +/-100, but I don't think that translates into higher profits. As an example, the last NARS trade yesterday at 3:50 started from a high CCI of 40.77, but the trade made 47 ticks, the highest of the day. I know that that trade made Nocona's day from his post.
Bottom line, no system is perfect or else everyone in the world would be playing with the same system.
