Hey V.......you're a good sport. I really wish you the best. My arguments are pretty well outlined in the post you responded to. I haven't given you verse for verse challenges, but instead have invited you to think about the monster in the OT you call God the Father. I've asked about people that never had a chance to hear the "Word". If someone says they're talking to God, we put them away. Yet all the Holy Books were written by such men. That should have kept you busy for a while, but it didn't. I'd like you think about what I'm saying without your argumentative mind, not just read my posts.

You're looking at the world with dualistic eyes. There lies the problem. Stop looking and SEE. Shut off that internal dialogue that maintains your world. Learn to just be. Nothing to live or die for. That voice in your head has to keep repeating itself, doesn't it? It's that voice I'm trying to draw your attention to. It rules you. Stop it if you can. I know you can't because you identify with it. IT IS NOT YOU! I've asked you to pay some attention to the spaces between your thoughts. What exists there? Don't gloss over this.
Since we've forgotten our connection with God, we act out against each other and men have had to compensate by inventing law after law to tell us what we already know......treat your neighbor as yourself. Without that connection, you've given up your birthright and if you commit a crime, will be judged by your peers. I see no problem here.
You keep mentioning free will and predestination. Means nothing to me. Must be an argument you're having with someone else.
Lusting IS a sin according to the Bible.....and that's what a teenager does. Sexual energy is the seat of power. But to handle it correctly needs insight. "Just say no" is a cop-out.
It's silly of you to look down on Tibetan monks who can control their body temperature.....sit out in the freezing cold naked all night and not die. They aren't trying to sell you anything. That's the manifestation of truth, a verification of it, not some witchcraft as you'd like everyone to believe. That's real power, not just words. What can you do? Can you even sit in one spot quietly for an hour without fidgeting? It doesn't say that it's a sin in the Bible, so give it a shot. Again, don't treat this lightly if you can't do it.
