Don't know what it's been like in your neck of the woods but it felt like a rough one in these parts. I know I've been through worse but this one had a lot of folks going down for the count.
Our days are noticeably longer now. I drove home from work in full sunlight last night. It helps that I left the corporate cage at 4:00. <g> What a mood elevator!
Now my thoughts turn to spring and its attendant chores. I believe I have a carpenter bee infestation. You know all about nature. Any ideas on how to kill them with out tearing up the house? A friend of mine says you have to time insecticide injection with their breeding schedule. They are vulnerable while laying their eggs. Once they've laid them, they seal off the "nest" which protects them from the chemicals.
Great... now I need to be attuned the sex life of bees.
