The Only Safe Haven?
Putting your money in the bank is useless. The value of the American peso is dropping out faster than you know what. Commodities may reap the benefits.
This board is long on fundamentally sound oil plays like DPDW and CMMI, and a few decent gold plays too. I posted a bouncing Oiler earlier tonight and CGLD, a goldie catching some waves.
Gold stocks are a much tougher play, long. Best to do the momo thing and be done with it, unless you are playing decent producers, unhedged, IMHO.
I am always looking out for junior producers in both sectors.
Silver is also about to make its mark. TNRI bears looking at. The mineable resources at that site, just north of where I live, are solid, and the mine is already built, shafts in place from years ago. There must be more plays like this, where low silver prices killed a junior miner. Now, the property is being resurrected. This play is known to us, very well.
