Matt, is it your intention that one be banned from a public board not because of posts on that board, but because of the moderator's perception of past posts by the banned, and not necessarily even on that board?

I do believe I'm in that position on Rants-PA and if the ban stands I will ask your help in having Gary and Phil provide a public explanation. I'm sure you and the iHub community will find it remarkably insightful.

I appreciate your support, but I feel like I am walking on ice because you removed Gary and I as moderators from the GOV board before asking us privately the reasons for the post deletions.

The deletions were justified because the posters were constantly discussing a ghost deletion, which I previously explained to you via PM.

Gary and I feel we have a target painted on our foreheads because the few we have to constantly argue with are the "vocal minority", but very prolific, posters.

Am I wrong to ask members to discuss the issue of post deletions or banishments with me privately?
