People have gotten "caught." See the names and examples I cited in my previous posts and do some research.

And I disagree about people running to the FBI. See my post to Janice. There is no absolute requirement for a "paid basher" to report anything.

Now, manipulation, as I also stated, is another argument, and, then it's not an issue of disclosure per se.
