Let's take a very indirect case. Someone publishes a bash piece. He leaks it first to his "friends". Then he publishes it either formally or on message boards. Is he paid to bash? It is claimed by OSTK and others that this happens. It is also claimed that indirect payments, trade concessions and the like, in essence, pay for these bash pieces.
I think the universe of possibilities is so large, with trillions involved, that to think that there is no such thing as paid bashing is quite naive.
