East Bay:After extensive and exhausting research I must conclude that you and your cronies are right about Cold Fusion: It don't work. But let me leave you with this sobering thought; stuff happens. To wit: Everyone knew that the Earth was flat; everyone knew that the Earth revolved around the Sun; and of course when the apple landed on Newton's noggin all that resulted was a nasty headache. But things evolve over time. And so I say to you, "Never Give Up the Ship!"
If the industry was smart, they could design layered solar cell that could harvest from 2.5 micron down to .2 microns, right now only the .4 to 1 micron range is harvested, the short part of the spectrum is on the down side of the Bolzano Weirstrass spectral distribution and you do not lose much by not collecting that part.
