OT Bambihunter,
A cure for "restless leg syndrome" is a bar of soap under the sheet near your legs. This distributed by Dr. Gott in his syndicated newspaper column. When I showed this to my son in law who suffered from this condition he laughed, but tried it. He said it works. some months later he told my daughter "It didn't work last night". When she made the bed she found the soap on the floor. I pray this helps.

hello bambihunter, thanks for your response, i couldn't think of a worse name then "restless-leg-syndrome" for his condition. it made me think, "oh great, another crybaby disease thought up by the large pharmas," every time i heard the term. i actually thought the same thing the first bunch of times i heard of ad and adhd.....

my father-in-law has been sliding deeper into alzheimer’s for years, i still call it "early stage" in his case, but is likely getting beyond that now. he is very fortunate in that he has 3 wonderful daughters that look out for him, 3 son-in-laws that also pitch in, and an extended family that reaches out.

he still lives alone as they want to maintain his quality of life as long as they can, and they are beginning to realize that a live-in will be needed sooner, rather than later..

they have created a schedule for him that works pretty well. they can afford a driver for him since they had to take his car keys away from him this past year, then the keys to his tractor, then the keys to his 4-wheller, all of his hunting rifles, the list goes on, all as he slowly losses his independence.

anyway, he will always tell you he is doing fine, even when he is not, it is almost like he feels no pain. this past year we were having dinner and he casually mentioned that his stomach hurt. he never fusses about any pain, and sure enough his appendix had already burst and we got him to emergency just in time.

same kind of thing with the RLS, we didn't know what was going on with him. his doctor worked with one of his daughters and they determined that he had RLS, I have no clue how, and I don't know what meds they put him on for it, but the results have been amazing. he works out 5 days a week as part of his morning out/routine, and looks great, although his mind still slides, something i believe he is very much aware of. we laugh a lot with him, and he has not gotten bitter like so many alzheimer’s patients do, and he tells us he loves us at the end of every phone call or drop off. things could always be worse.

anyway, I would love to see cortex continue to try to help alzheimer patients in the press releases ahead. I believe most on this board underestimate their ability to raise cash down the road, something they don't even need for a year or more, imho. Cor execs are not stupid, they have been in this game a long time, and now they have brought fresh brains on board. Sure they could have developed more things if they had 100 million a year to work with instead of 15, but then what exec couldn't.

i see possibilities, not doom and gloom, and have tried to use my recent posts on this board by showing just how they have performed over the last 12 years when in a pinch, or at least, at their yearly low. and i mean not just dreaming how they have done, but showing, in hard numbers, investor's willingness to back cor, each and every one of the last 12 years.

i have purchased at least some shares every day since the failed IND and i have cash set aside to purchase up to 50% more dollar wise, in the days ahead if it drifts downward. if i lose it, there are brighter days days ahead, i mean hey, i have a loving father-in-law.

take care.
