Again, the issue is raised wether the denial of the IND was based on a new toxicity issue or the old toxicity issue. I would expect that this will be clarified by the company in the course of a CC.

I assume you've sold your shares right?

If you want to be constructive with your anger, why don't you contact 60 Minutes, your congressman, etc. and ask them why the FDA can shoot down an effective drug in treating a controversial condition (ADHD) because of a rare toxicity issue, even after it was proven to be an artifact?

Ask them how a gate-keeping agency like the FDA gets to be all-powerful with no checks and balances and prone to corruption? That would be a more effective thing to do with your anger than constantly bashing Cortex, IMHO.

The second article that nakedmouse gave a link to is a review of the Ampakine pipleline by Dr. Louis Sanfilippo from Yale. He calls into question the entire Ampakine platform. What do you know of this guy? One would have to assume that an "Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Yale" is credible.
