#204563 RE: Belgie24 #204560

Belgie: The '67 Sox. I was there! I was at the park. It WAS magic. Do you recall the first game? Yaz saved Moorehead's no-hitter in ther 9th with that great catch only to have Elston Howard single to center to bust the no-hitter. And in the last game against the Twins when Jim Lonborg dropped a bunt down the third baseline, shocking everyone, especially the Twins 3rd baseman who was darn near the outfield grass. I have the record they made, "Carl Yaztremski, Carl Yaztremski, the man they call Yaz" sung by Jess Cain. Oh the memories. Driving around in my car, a game would end with a Sox win and horns would be honking from Stockbridge to Boston. And Dalton Jones, and George Scott, and Joe Foy. I gotta stop. Nope...and that "Bandy legged" third baseman, Frank Malzone.
