I think that PBLS arrogant and over confident attitude has come back to bite them.
With so many options available after Katrina, it appears they went on a spending binge that would put a drunken sailor to shame.

Now they have been taken to the proverbial woodshed and beaten within an inch of their life.

The future of PBLS depends on how much financial loss they suffered and if any money can be recovered. management is suffering a hangover of monumental proportions and only the strong will survive.

I still contend that the pieces are in place to make this a viable company but a huge dose of humility and dedication to frugal and sensible spending is absolutely necessary to survive.

No more BS, pie in the sky pr as every move the company makes will be scrutinized. I expect they will be advised to make audited financials available as only the bravest (or dumbest) gamblers will be willing to place a bet on this snake bitten company.

They have to prove themselves.

Will it work?

I still have my shares and have little to lose on a bet that I always knew was a long shot.

As for the offshore bank being Riley's idea. Sorry, don't buy that. Not after several conversations with RB and JH, and knowing that the Hayden's own a piece of that bank.

With all honesty and not belittling your situation nor knowing of its validity with PBLS....If I lost my job, the very last thing I would be thinking of is finding a message board to ward others off or post about it. Especially if you have mouths to feed.

The internet connection would be immediately gone as it would serve little or no purpose in gaining further employment in another construction firm. I know first hand that if you are looking on the internet for a job, then you are not really looking, your just passing the time. If you go to the unemployment office and file a complaint for not only unemployment and/or for money owed in unpaid wages, they will take care of it for you, but it might take time.

The company either will survive or will not survive. Even bringing the PPS down to .0001 will not facilitate the process one way or another. But it certainly will harm others with LESS recourse than you have with a legitimate claim.

If there was legal wrong doings by the company, posting here will never get justice for you. Reporting it to someone that can, would be much more likely to get the result you seek.

As an owner of a company, I never gave notice upon a firing. As far as the rest about what is owed to you, I would expect you be given all you are owed, including any fees incurred. Also, you write as if in third person, did this happen to you or just rumors from others?
