Sure am, at first blush. I'll withhold my final opinion until I hear the rationale from Matt & Bob. Unless they can convince me, I think the only one who should be able to ban a poster is the site admin., and then from the whole site, not from specific boards. It just opens up the possibility of too much abuse or, just as bad, perception of abuse. That kind of thing could cast a shadow over the iHub operation, something I would disfavor.

But, I'll still hold out with my final opinion until Bob and Matt can explain.
