I live in the UK, but all I trade are US stocks. Apple is a big story, bigger than the iPhone. Bigger than the Mac. Bigger than the iPod. Bigger than iTunes. Combine all of those, and you have probably the most powerful, condensed, refined, and successful product line-up of any company, anywhere, firing on all cylinders.
Apple is a unique company, and very misunderstood by most (with all due respect). You have to understand the incredible momentum behind all of its product lines, and the dynamics driving demand, to also understand why earnings growth is simply not going to decline over the next couple of years.
People have been saying the same thing as you for the last 4 years, every year, ever quarter in fact, and missed a 2200% rise in the stock. Its not slowing down, not for a year or two, irrespective of whatever slowdown does or doesn't happen in the US (another subject altogether) :-)
